Hi theatre-goers!
Just a quickie today as I’ve been SOOOOO busy with getting the Viva Forever pages ready and getting all the latest news out to you via Facebook & Twitter @_theatrebreaks_
Simon & I went to the launch yesterday at the St Pancras hotel (where the Spice Girls actually filmed the video for their debut “Wannabe”). It was full of press, tv & other theatre ticket agents (but I won’t mention them by name!). I was stood next to Daybreak’s Richard Arnold who was taking photographs on a very dodgy looking mobile with a horrendously cracked screen!
Jennifer Saunders, who has written the new musical, was lovely and funny, albeit a little flushed (it was VERY hot in there). Sporty, Scary, Baby & Ginger Spice were bouncey, giggly and having fun. Unfortunately, Mrs Beckham was obviously having an off day & looked really miserable throughout proceedings. C’mon love, you’re married to the gorgeous David and have loads of money… What’s there not to smile about????????
Anyway, off the Chariots of Fire tonight. Will report back on the morrow
